Greg is a member of both the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and California Society of Certified Public Accounts. He served as the Treasurer of the Bishop Chamber of Commerce from 1984 to 1993.

Greg served in the United States Marine Corp from 1966-1969, with service in Vietnam from 1968-1970. He was decorated with the Silver Star, two Purple Hearts and performed over 1000 combat missions.

Greg was a participating member of the Kiwanis of Chino and the Bishop Rotary Club and served as President for both organizations.

Greg has been very active in sports officiating: football, baseball and basketball. He served as the Vice President for the Mojave Desert Officials Association High School Football and Baseball Leagues. Greg was awarded three times for his excellence in officiating and selected to umpire the CIF Baseball Finals at Anaheim Stadium.
